Parent Teacher Student Association is a non-profit child advocacy organization organized at the national, state & local level, run entirely by volunteers.
$10 fee breaks down to $2.25 to National PTA, $5.25 to Idaho, & $2.50 to Lowell. Your dues support our programs & help give the state & National PTA's a stronger voice when they support legislation that benefits children.
We meet 2nd Wed of each month from 4-5pm. (Shade structure if good weather; library if not.)
You DON'T need to be a member to attend, but members have the right to vote on important decisions & are on the email chain.
Fundraising allows PTSA to support Lowell & the community beyond what's budgeted. PTSA supports staff "love funds," field trips, events, legacy projects, yearbooks for all, supplies, events, & more!
Some example legacy projects we have helped fund are the shade structure, Lowell track, & soon to be outdoor classroom!
While we depend on volunteers to operate & greatly appreciate their time, we know not all families have this flexibility. Some join simply to be on email chain updates. Volunteering can be small or big jobs — some even remote. Seasoned volunteers are here to help & working with a friend is a great way to get both your feet wet!
